Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms are intended to stipulate the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Company and users, and other necessary matters related to the use of the multilingual (i18n) management platform service ("Service") provided by Verbsync ("Company").

Article 2 (Definitions)

"Service" means the multilingual management platform provided by the Company, including management of translation keys and translation values, provision of real-time translation data through APIs, etc.

"User" means members and non-members who agree to these Terms and use the services provided by the Company.

"Member" means a person who registers as a member and uses the service.

"Account" means the email address selected by the member and approved by the Company for member identification and service use.

"API Key" means an authentication key issued to use the Service's API.

"Project" means a collection of translation data created and managed by members within the service.

"Content" means all data (translation keys, translation values, project information, etc.) uploaded or entered by members to the service.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)

① The Company posts the contents of these Terms on the initial screen of the service so that users can easily know them.

② The Company may amend these Terms within the scope that does not violate relevant laws when necessary.

③ When the Company amends the Terms, it specifies the effective date and reason for amendment and notifies them together with the current Terms on the initial screen of the service from 7 days before the effective date until the day before the effective date. However, in case of amendment of Terms unfavorable to users, it separately notifies by email, etc. in addition to the notice.

④ Users have the right to disagree with the amended Terms, and if they do not agree to the amended Terms, they may terminate the service agreement.

Article 4 (Membership Registration)

① Users apply for membership by filling in member information according to the registration form set by the Company and expressing their intention to agree to these Terms.

② The Company registers as members those who apply for membership as in paragraph 1, except in the following cases:

When the applicant has previously lost membership status under these Terms

When there are falsehoods, omissions, or errors in the registration details

When it is determined that registering as a member would significantly hinder the Company's technology

③ The time of establishment of membership is when the Company's approval reaches the member.

④ Members must immediately notify the Company of any changes to the matters registered at the time of membership registration.

Article 5 (Provision and Change of Service)

① The Company provides the following services:

Translation key and translation value management service

Real-time translation data provision through API (Over-the-Air updates)

Multilingual project management tools

Import/Export functions in file formats such as Excel/CSV (paid plans)

Team collaboration features (paid plans)

AI automatic translation features (Pro plan)

All other services developed additionally by the Company or provided to members through partnership agreements

② The Company may change the contents of the service and will notify in advance when changed.

③ The Company may change all or part of the services provided according to operational or technical needs.

Article 6 (Suspension of Service)

① The Company may temporarily suspend the provision of services when there are reasons such as maintenance, replacement, and failure of information and communication facilities such as computers, or interruption of communication.

② The Company compensates for damages suffered by users or third parties due to temporary suspension of service provision due to the reasons in paragraph 1. However, this does not apply when the Company proves that there was no intention or negligence.

③ When services cannot be provided due to reasons such as conversion of business items, abandonment of business, or integration between companies, the Company notifies users by the method specified in Article 8 and compensates consumers according to the conditions initially presented by the Company.

Article 7 (Member Obligations)

① Members must not engage in the following acts:

Registration of false information when applying or changing

Theft of others' information

Alteration of information posted by the Company

Transmission or posting of information other than that determined by the Company (such as computer programs)

Infringement of intellectual property rights such as copyrights of the Company and other third parties

Acts that damage the reputation of the Company and other third parties or interfere with business

Acts of disclosing or posting obscene or violent messages, images, sounds, or other information contrary to public order and morals on the service

Acts of providing or sharing API keys to third parties without authorization

Acts of calling APIs from domains other than allowed domains

Acts of reproducing, distributing, viewing, providing, or commercially using information obtained through the service without prior approval from the Company

Other illegal or unfair acts

② Members must comply with related laws, the provisions of these Terms, usage guidelines and notices related to the service, and matters notified by the Company, and must not engage in acts that interfere with the Company's business.

③ Members are responsible for managing their accounts and API keys and must be careful not to expose them to third parties.

Article 8 (Member Posts and Content)

① All content (translation keys, translation values, project information, etc.) posted or uploaded by members within the service belongs to the members. However, the Company may use members' content within the scope necessary for service operation, promotion, and improvement.

② Members are responsible for the content they post, and the Company is not responsible for legal disputes arising from content posted by members.

③ When the Company determines that content posted by members violates these Terms or related laws, it may delete the content or refuse posting without prior notice.

④ Members are responsible for backing up data generated during service use, and the Company is not responsible for data loss. However, exceptions are made for data loss due to the Company's fault.

Article 9 (Fees and Payment)

① The service is basically provided free of charge, and membership in a paid plan is required to use additional features.

② Fees, payment methods, payment timing, etc. for paid plans follow the contents specified on the pricing page within the service.

③ When members use paid plans, the Company charges fees through the payment method selected by the member.

④ Fees are paid in advance, and service use may be restricted if members do not pay fees.

⑤ Refund policies may vary depending on the characteristics of each plan, and specific details are separately provided within the service.

⑥ The Company may change pricing plans and will notify in advance when changed. Changed pricing plans apply from the next billing cycle.

Article 10 (API Usage)

① Members can use the API provided by the Company to retrieve translation data in their applications.

② When using the API, members must use the issued API key, and the API key must be used only by the member.

③ Members can set up domain restrictions so that APIs can only be called from allowed domains.

④ The Company may impose restrictions such as Rate Limiting for API stability and security, and may temporarily restrict service use in case of excessive API calls.

⑤ The Company will notify in advance when APIs are changed, suspended, or terminated, and is not responsible for damages caused thereby.

Article 11 (Personal Information Protection)

The Company strives to protect users' personal information. Matters related to the protection of users' personal information follow the relevant laws and the "Privacy Policy" set by the Company.

Article 12 (Company Obligations)

① The Company does not engage in acts prohibited by laws and these Terms or contrary to public order and morals, and strives to provide services continuously and stably.

② The Company establishes security systems for the protection of users' personal information and announces and complies with the Privacy Policy.

③ The Company must process opinions or complaints raised by users related to the service when it recognizes them as legitimate.

④ The Company establishes and operates security systems so that users can use the service safely.

Article 13 (Compensation for Damages)

① The Company does not bear responsibility for any damages to members related to services provided free of charge, except when such damages are caused by the Company's gross negligence.

② The Company is not responsible for lost profits expected by members through service use, nor is it responsible for damages caused by materials obtained through the service.

③ The Company is not responsible for service use disruptions due to members' fault.

Article 14 (Exemption Clauses)

① The Company is exempt from responsibility for service provision when services cannot be provided due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure.

② The Company is not responsible for service use disruptions due to members' fault.

③ The Company is not responsible for lost profits expected by members through service use, nor is it responsible for damages caused by materials obtained through the service.

④ The Company is not responsible for the reliability, accuracy, etc. of information, materials, and facts posted by members.

Article 15 (Dispute Resolution)

① Lawsuits regarding electronic commerce disputes between the Company and users are subject to the user's address at the time of filing, and if there is no address, to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local court having jurisdiction over the residence. However, if the user's address or residence is not clear at the time of filing, the competent court is determined according to the Civil Procedure Act.

② Korean law applies to lawsuits filed between the Company and users.

Article 16 (Others)

① Matters not specified in these Terms follow relevant laws or commercial practices.

② The Company may establish matters applicable to specific services ("Individual Terms") and post them within the service when necessary.

③ When the contents of these Terms and Individual Terms conflict, the contents of Individual Terms take precedence.
